It is completely your choice and depends on your personal preference. If you prefer to work alone, then it is best to train by yourself with your Personal Trainer. If you prefer working in a group situation and want to include your family members or friends while keeping the cost less, then Personal Training in a group is a good choice for you.
Sessions are 1 hour each. This is sufficient time to warm-up, workout, cool-down and stretch with your Personal Trainer. You will also have time to discuss anything you need to with your trainer – including your results and nutrition, also you can ask your Personal Trainer any questions you may have.
The more sessions you do, the faster you will achieve your goal. However, you have to be realistic and take everything into account such as your schedule, work, family, life – everything. The best thing to do is start with 2 to 3 sessions per week to see results.
Proper sport shoes (sneakers) are essential to keep your feet stable and supported during your sessions. Clothing should be comfortable sports clothing such as t-shirt with tights/leggings.
Eat 2 to 3 hours before your session to allow the food to digest completely. It also depends on you – if you prefer to have something light before you workout, then fruit like a banana or dates are perfect. After your workout, fruit is excellent like banana and dates. Also aim to eat some form of protein such as meats, fish, eggs, natural yoghurt or quinoa to re-fuel your muscles after your workout.
You may use many types of functional training equipment in your sessions. Your Personal Trainer tailors your workouts to directly achieve your goals, and you will use equipment that directly helps to achieve this. Equipment used may include dumbbells, kettlebells, swiss balls, bosu, ropes, strength bags, Vipr, TRX and more – all of which your Personal Trainer will teach you.
To be honest, you most probably will be sore afterwards. It is completely normal to feel muscle soreness after your workouts, even up to 48 hours after – especially when you are first starting your workout regime. This is completely normal to feel this way, so do not worry if this is the case for you. It will decrease more and more as you continue your training regime.

The best thing you can do whenever you are feeling tired is working out. Exercise directly releases endorphins, which are chemicals naturally produced in our bodies that make us feel great.
If you feel sick, it is not recommended to workout. Rest and recover until you feel better again then resume your training.
Studies prove that it is absolutely fine and safe to workout when you have your period. However, if you experience unbearable pain and discomfort during this time, it is best to rest.
There are two main things you need to do in order to lose weight and obtain your optimum body size and shape – exercise often and eat healthy.
The key is to find the exercise you enjoy the most, and do more of that. Try all of our exercise services and see what you enjoy best. This will help you achieve your fitness and health goals, along with eating healthy.
Exercise and healthy food complete eachother – one without the other will not give you the best results.
Yes. Exercising when pregnant has numerous benefits: it increases nutrient delivery to the baby, gives you an emotional boost, decreases complications during your pregnancy and birth, improves your sleep, and keeps you and your baby healthy.
Because your safety is most important to us, we require your doctors' approval prior to starting your exercise regime when pregnant.
Generally speaking it can take anywhere up to 8 weeks after giving birth to heal - this differs from woman to woman and depends on whether the birth was natural or caesarean section.
Before engaging in any form of exercise after delivery, we recommend obtaining your doctors' approval first to ensure your safety. First, give your body time to heal and recuperate then when you feel ready see your doctor to get the final OK to start exercising again.
If you would like further assistance to starting your exercise regime after delivery, call us at the Club to see how we can help you post-delivery.
Everyone is different, so do not compare yourself to anyone else but yourself. With any exercise regime, we recommend giving yourself one month to see change in your body. How will you know if there is change? We have our state-of-the-art InBody body composition machine which explains in detail what is going on in your body - your muscle mass and body fat, if you are hydrated enough, which type of exercise you need to be doing in order to acheive your goals, and more. Our InBody machine is free for all of our clients to use anytime and we recommend taking your test at the start of your new exercise regime then again after one month. We compare these results to see the changes that you have made and our Personal Trainers will explain to you your results in detail, answer any questions you have, and prescribe for your the best course of action to continue thereafter. Whenever you would like to complete your InBody test, ask our friendly reception team and they will help you.
If weight loss is your main goal, when you start working out your body generally starts to build lean muscle. After some time you may have started to lose body fat and feel that your body is decreasing in size and your clothes have become more loose but your weight on the scale may not have decreased. This is the point where it can become frustrating, however, this is a good sign. This means that you are building lean muscle (which is great, because muscle burns fat) and decreasing body fat. Muscle weighs nearly 4 times heavier than fat, so if you are decreasing in size and shape but your weight is not, do not worry! You are decreasing your body fat and increasing your lean muscle mass, which is exactly what we want to see happening. If you want to be sure of this you can retest your InBody machine results anytime at the Club.
Because everyone is different, some will see results in a short time while for others it takes longer. The key to a successful exercise regime is being consistent with your workouts and keeping your eating habits healthy and clean. Do your best, train hard, eat healthy and stay with it - you will see the results.
Remember that we are here to help you achieve your health and fitness goals - this is our priority. Ask us anytime any questions you have, or let us know if you need help anytime. We are always here for you.
